Part 1: How tickets build trust

Our colleague Jonas posed a thought-provoking question: “What if a ticket never caused frustration again, but actually built trust instead?”

Anyone working on software projects knows how often tickets are vague or incomplete. The result: misunderstandings, frustration, and lost time. Jonas flipped that perspective: a ticket is more than just a task; it is a fundamental building block for quality and trust.

Tips for sharpening your user stories:

  • Use the INVEST method (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, Testable) to keep tickets concrete and achievable.
  • Always define from the end-user’s perspective: “As a [role], I want [goal], so that [value].”
  • Ensure acceptance criteria are both testable and measurable.
  • Make ownership explicit: clear accountability increases engagement.
  • Communicate transparently: a ticket is a living document, so keep progress and context visible for both the team and the client.

By approaching tickets this way, they stop being a bottleneck and become a tool to strengthen trust in the development process—both internally and externally.

Part 2: ChatGPT as a head start in analysis

In his talk, William demonstrated how ChatGPT can help you gain a quicker grip on any analysis. AI can inspire, offer structure, and accelerate ideas—but only if you deploy it the right way.

How to write an effective prompt:

  • Be specific: The more concrete your question, the more relevant the output.
  • Use a persona: Define who is giving the answer (e.g., "You are an experienced business analyst").
  • Ask for nuance: Let the AI provide pros and cons, or outline different scenarios.
  • Iterate: Build your prompt step-by-step instead of asking one all-encompassing question at once.
  • Always validate manually: AI helps you get started, but the human factor remains indispensable for evaluating results.

The common thread

Although Jonas and William covered different topics, their talks shared a single core message: quality requires conscious choices. Whether it’s about crafting tight user stories or designing smart AI prompts ultimately, transparency, ownership, and human expertise make the difference.

Through our Lightning Talks, we keep these principles top of mind. This ensures we don’t just build web apps, but deliver solutions that truly work and inspire confidence.
