What technologies does Codana use as standard (frontend, cloud, mobile)?
A stack that can carry products
Codana typically works with a deliberate, proven stack: robust enough for serious integrations and scale, without technology for technology's sake. The core is:
- Backend: Laravel and Symfony (custom PHP) for most platform and integration contexts; alongside Python and Node.js where that is a better fit for APIs, services, data or AI-related workloads, tooling or the existing team.
- Frontend: React, Next.js and Vue. We use Next.js in the Node.js ecosystem (including SSR, routing, performance) where it benefits the user experience or SEO.
- Mobile: React Native where a native-like app is needed; not every question calls for an app, sometimes a strong web app or PWA is sufficient.
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes and Google Cloud for environments that need to scale, monitor and secure. Codana is a Google Cloud Service Partner and Google Cloud Premium Partner.
Deviating is possible, with good reason
Where your context requires it (existing stack, strategic choices, procurement requirements), we adapt and document why. The guiding principle remains: what the team can maintain over time and what fits your chain and risk profile.
