What happens after the launch of a custom application (maintenance, SLA, further development)?
Launch is the start of real usage
After go-live comes real usage: peaks, edge cases, wishes that only become clear now, and the need to maintain stability. Without clear follow-up, technical debt and user friction build up.
Typical building blocks (Evolve)
Under Evolve we think about:
- Monitoring and incident handling: what do you measure, who responds, how do you escalate?
- Maintenance and updates: security patches, dependency updates, minor fixes; sometimes in a fixed or flexible block of hours per month.
- Ongoing development on the roadmap: new features prioritised based on impact and risk, not "all at once".
- Quality and compliance: accessibility, privacy and performance remain criteria, not a one-time project phase.
Custom agreements
SLAs and response times can be contractually tailored to your risk and availability requirements: from essentials to tighter agreements for critical processes. The key point is that roles, expectations and budget after launch are as explicit as they were during the build.
